Hi my name is Jasmine and my daughter Jenesis who is 10 years old, was recently diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy after previously having no health care issues. We recently discovered her diagnosis and been living inpatient in Charleston at the Shawn Jenkins Children?s Hospital. While we have been here Jenesis has undergone test and procedures to monitor her heart as we wait to see if a heart transplant will be needed.
