We are a 501(C)(3) non-profit no-kill cat shelter and adoption center in Silverton dedicated to rescuing cats and finding forever homes for homeless felines in our community. Since our founding in 1990, we have been dedicated to the health, welfare, and comfort of the cats and kittens that come through our door. We can house and care for 150 cats in our facility. Many of our cats are elderly, or have medical or special needs, and we do our best to make sure everyday is the best it can be for them.

Edie McKee Harper (March 29, 1922 ? January 10, 2010) was an American photographer, artist and wildlife conservationist with her husband, Charley Harper (August 4, 1922 ? June 10, 2007). Edie had a deep love of cats and gave The Scratching Post this beautiful design to help us take care of our cats!
