This summer, Iris Busha was diagnosed with acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (AMKL), a rare form of leukemia, following a long and difficult journey to diagnosis. Since then, she has endured countless procedures, transfusions, lab draws, line placements, and many long hours in the hospital, far from the comfort and familiarity of home.

Throughout this journey, Iris and her family have faced challenges no family should have to navigate. Her parents have poured everything they have into caring for Iris while also trying to manage the demands of employment, daily necessities, and life away from home.

After completing her second round of chemotherapy, Iris is now working toward recovery so that she can proceed with a bone marrow transplant, with the hope of achieving remission. In the midst of all of this, we are celebrating Iris? bravery and strength! Each purchase helps to fund Iris? medical bills and life at another hospital for her transplant.
