That answer depends on where you are located! Everyone who works in wild lands, waters, and outdoor spaces has a plant they love - and plants they could do without!

Invasive plants can harm our environment in many ways. They may crowd out or displace native plants, reduce the quality of habitat for native animals, reduce nutrition or create toxic conditions for grazing animals, clog waterways, increase the risk of fire or flood, reduce the value of land, and more. That's why Cal-IPC works with land managers, researchers, and passionate supporters to help reduce the impact of invasive plants on California's wild places.
